Lynne A. Kasey has captured the world around her since she first received a 35mm camera at 19. Driven to document fleeting moments that happen in an instant, she’s captivated by delicate stages of nature, stories emanating through items long forgotten, and the tales told by smiling faces.
Part of Lynne’s process is to travel down a dusty road, wander through an antique shop, or peer through cracked windows in search of an image and story that speaks to her. Lynne’s photography can be found at various galleries throughout the Midwest and in Shutterbug magazine.
A multi-media artist, Lynne also specializes in transfer techniques to incorporate her imagery on found objects, such as strips of bark, and on items such as clothing, furniture, metal, and musical instruments.
